Hunting chairs were taken on hunts for resting; not carried by the hunters, but by their servants. The folding design allowed for easy transport. Referred to as a Chinese horse shoe shape due to the top portion of the chair's design. This chair has wooden slats for the seating. It is adorned with many pieces of metal, carvings and a folding foot rest. The centre back panel has a pierced carving of a dragon. The finish is dark brown.
